**Branch Assistant**:

- Rexel UK Limited, are looking to appoint a Branch Assistant in our busy Portsmouth branch. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business where you will be given a real opportunity to progress. _

**_The Role_**
- As a Branch Assistant for Rexel, your main responsibilities will be to:_
- _Deliver excellent customer service to all customers _
- _Build and maintain successful partnerships with customers, colleagues and suppliers and focus on the achievement of long-term customer loyalty_
- _Be flexible to carry out various tasks and activities to support the effective overall running of the branch including being in the stores, telesales and trade counter sales_
- _Be a relief Driver for van deliveries to support as necessary_
- _Effectively manage stock display in trade counter exposing the customer to a wide range of stock and impulse products, new stock ranges and any value-added services as is practical within the Sales Counter_
- _Maintain a clean and tidy environment that is always well presented creating an environment to positively influence the Sales Counter performance_
- _Using IT systems such as M3 or Microsoft Office where appropriate_

**_The Person_**
- To be a successful Branch Assistant at Rexel, you will be able to demonstrate the following:_
- _Customer focussed, with experience of working in a customer facing role_
- _Confident to work in a fast-paced role, whilst maintaining a consistent eye for detail_
- _A flexible approach and an ability to work under pressure _
- _Embracing of change and new technologies_
- _Experience within a multi-product warehouse environment (ideally)_
- _Proactive approach and a natural flair for building relationships with customers_
- _Electrical product knowledge is advantageous_
- _FLT License is advantageous_
- The Branch Assistant role is a FULL TIME permanent position MONDAY - FRIDAY_ _and we offer a pension, life assurance, 25 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays. _
