As a Building Recover in Communites (BRIC) Coordinator with Change Grow Live you’ll work with people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be.

**Responsibilities**:
About the role:
With this role you’ll be working as part of the Tower Hamlets Treatment and Recovery Team,

The team supports service users with drug and/or alcohol issues from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey.
- Facilitation of service user involvement in line with CGL policies, procedures and best practice.
- Recruitment and coordination of Volunteer and Peer Mentors.
- To support service users and those in recovery to develop opportunities that sustain recovery by providing/signposting diversionary activities, development or employment.
- Delivery of CGL accredited Adult and Young Persons Peer Mentoring Courses.
- Assist with the delivery and development of group-based education interventions and workshops including Foundations of Recovery.

But most of the time you’ll be enjoying working with people from all backgrounds, making a difference to their lives.

**About you**:

- Sensitive to situations when working with complex and diverse cultural issues
- Experience working with substance misusers. Knowledge of the issues facing drug and alcohol users, including appropriate medical interventions, social care and health issues.
- Proven leadership skills
- Understanding of the need for and ability to deliver quality services
- Experience of or the proven ability to manage and supervise Staff, Peer mentors/volunteers.

This role is vital to the development and continuity of the service, necessitating a flexible attitude to multi-agency working.
