We are looking for people with excellent communication skills, drive and enthusiasm who would like to pass their knowledge and experience on to our students to ensure they receive the best possible learning experience.
Our trainee programme has been development to attract experienced industry professionals, with expert industry knowledge and skills, to work in Further Education. Their understanding of the latest skills, techniques, approaches and equipment has the potential to improve student outcomes.
Joining Bury College as a Trainee Lecturer in Plumbing, you will be employed on a full time or part-time, permanent basis teaching for an agreed number of days a week whilst studying on campus towards a recognised teaching qualification.
The trainee programme is designed and delivered in a way that will ensure you obtain all the skills that are required to become a teacher. You will have a reduced teaching timetable and extensive support, guidance and mentoring will be provided.
This is a permanent position and, upon completion of the above qualification you will progress to the main pay band and terms of a fully qualified Lecturer.
