Evening Waiting Staff

Nibbles2Nosh are the in house catering team at Upwaltham Barns, a beautiful wedding venue in the South Downs National Park, offering a personable and approachable family-feel service.

We are looking for a number of new staff to join our dynamic and friendly team for the 2023 wedding season.
- We need you to:_
- be vibrant, enthusiastic and with a great work ethic
- have an eye for detail, a can-do attitude and always prepared to go the extra mile
- be a team player who starts and ends each day with a smile
- preferably have previous experience in the hospitality/catering industry but training will be provided
- have your own transport due to the venues rural location

Please note, both advertised roles below could be combined to create an 8+ hours shift

**Evening Waiting Staff**

Evening waiting staff required. Shift times will vary but commonly 7.30pm - 12.30am during the week (predominantly Thursdays and Fridays) and at weekends. We have a specific need for those available during week days.
- You will be serving evening food, interacting with guests, tidying the kitchens, tidying the venue, packing the bridal couples decorations away at the end of the evening and assisting with evening close down
- First and Fire training will be given so that you can assist with health and safety provision during the evening
- Weekday and weekend shifts, flexible around your availability
- Regular March - December work, with a very busy Spring & Summer season
- Ideally over 21 years old but 18+ years will be considered
- Over 21 yrs £11 per hour + holiday, 18-20 yrs £9.75 per hour + holiday

**Catering Equipment Assistant**

You will be working ‘behind the scenes’ in this role, as part of the catering equipment team. Shift times will vary but commonly 4/4.30pm - 9/9.30pm during the week (predominantly Thursdays and Fridays) and at weekends.
- As this is event catering, equipment will be stack in boxes for transportation around the venue so you must be physically fit and be able to lift heavy boxes
- You will be collecting pre-stacked dirty catering equipment (plates/glasses/cutlery) from around the venue, helping use industrial feed through dishwashers, restacking, recounting and redistributing boxed clean equipment ready for the next event
- Weekday and weekend shifts, flexible around your availability
- Regular March - December work, with a very busy Spring & Summer season
- Ideally over 21 years old but 18+ years will be considered
- Over 21 yrs £11 per hour + holiday, 18-20 yrs £9.75 per hour + holiday

**Job Types**: Temporary contract, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 10 months

**Salary**: £9.75-£11.00 per hour
