**Full Job Description**

The role is responsible for supervising all day to day operational tasks in a medium sized distribution warehouse. From goods in through to goods out and all points in between. You will lease with our manufacturing facility which is over seas and work closely with our administration and sales teams based on site in Manchester. You will also be required to learn and become involved in the gerneral administration and processes within the wider business.

Key Accountabilities:

- Run the warehouse to provide timely, quality service leading to total customer satisfaction. Support the team to maintain all business standards and ensure compliance with all health and safety and other legal requirements. Ensure prompt and accurate completion of all service requests by customers.
- Organise stock in the most efficient way whilst ensuring stock rotation
- Ensure Completion of all records and documentation to ensure accurate stock management.
- Research and resolve service issues and implement solutions.
- Supervise workloads, set targets to improve efficiencies for bonus achievement.
- Ensure that standard policies and procedures are rolled out to the business unit in a timely manner.
- Identify and Co-ordinate staff training and ensure all staff are fully trained and following procedures to ensure both employee(s) and others health and safety.
- Ensure computer systems are used properly within the team/site, using KPIs to analyse service delivery performance, identify and implement improvements.
- Through the available tools/materials, ensure all staff within remit receive sufficient and ongoing training on key operating systems.

Skills & Experience:

- Experience of working at Supervisor level in Warehouse in the distribution industry
- Ability to build and develop successful long term relationship with customers, commercial teams and departments. Strong people management skills, with the ability to focus and guide others in accomplishing work objectives, using methods and a flexible interpersonal style, to help build a cohesive team.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision Ability to work within a multi-cultural environment and with all levels of the organisation.
- Project management skills and experience. Demonstrate problem solving skills and experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a ‘can do attitude’ with a high level of self motivation.
