Job Title: Compliance Officer

Location: Nailsea, Bristol

**Salary**: £40,000 pro rata

**The Opportunity**: Wanted Compliance Officer for feed business. Equivalent three days per week flexible hours and days, minimum one day in the office per week
- Manage external compliance whilst working closely with appropriate certification bodies and assurance schemes
- Build appropriate contacts across our industry
- Maintain and update procedural and operational manuals
- Complete external audits at our southern sites and lead customer audits
- Manage our internal policies on sustainability and relevant government initiatives

**You**:
**What we are looking for**:

- An understanding of the regulations, concerning the production and/or processing of food, including ISO standards
- Ideally some "hands-on" experience in food production and an understanding of third-party certification system, retail policies and codes of practice.
- Good organisational skills are essential.
- Computer literacy is also an important requirement.
