Telemarketer

We are seeking a motivated and results driven Telemarketer to join our team in Newbridge, Edinburgh. As a Telemarketer, you will be responsible for making outbound calls to potential customers, promoting our products or services, and generating leads. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about sales and enjoys interacting with people over the phone.

You will play a vital role in processing customer orders, maximizing sales opportunities, and providing exceptional service to our clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Process customer orders accurately using available IT systems for Wholesale & Manufacturing customers, ensuring customers are informed of any issues.
- Plan and prepare sales calls to increase sales while identifying lost opportunities.
- Provide help and advice on our products to customers.
- Actively sell products to our customer base, maximizing sales and profit targets.
- Utilize marketing and promotional campaigns to drive sales.
- Identify potential new customers and manage an effective prospecting pipeline.
- Maintain accurate records of discussions and correspondence with customers and internal departments.
- Communicate relevant information gained through sales calls regarding lost/gained business, competitor activity, or credit situations to relevant personnel.
- Work collaboratively with the commercial team to generate plans for account development.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in telesales or a similar sales role.
- Knowledge of the food or wholesales industry is a strong benefit
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with customers.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in IT systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
