**The Role**:
**Finance Role**
- Receipt, filing and scanning of supplier invoices for various contractors
- Use of in house purchasing systems for ordering supplies and consumables
- Liaising with other purchasing depts within the Asda network to order Asda supplies
- Controlling stock of consumables and stationery for all departments
- Resolution of supplier invoice queries on Oracle
- Booking management travel arrangements in line with company guidelines
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Providing support and holiday cover when required to complete weekly reports, KPIs and to undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required for the effective operation of the Finance dept

**Transport Role**
- Transport administration - drivers trip sheets, liaising with customers and returning paperwork
- Updating spreadsheets for deliveries and checking fuel receipts
- Supporting the administration requirements of other departments as and when required to provide cover, complete projects and support the business needs To undertake general duties that support the Transport Department, i.e. answering the phone, issuing vehicle keys, allocating work, up-dating Microlise.

**The Person**:

- Previous experience in a finance function desirable but not necessary
- PC literate with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
- A high degree of confidentiality is essential in this role and the ability to work on own initiative is key
- Good interpersonal skills. Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment but shows initiative to work on own. Must be flexible in hours worked when/if the demands of the business require
