**About Our Client**:
My client is a well-established business based in Newhaven. The HR Advisor role will be a varied position, with one day from home per week - expanding after probation.

As the HR Advisor, you're role responsibilities will include:

- Act as first point of contact for HR queries throughout the UK business.
- Managing the employee lifecycle
- Reviewing and updating job descriptions
- Advising managers on recruitment and selection strategies
- Training and development of Managers Best Practice Boot Camp's
- Assisting with and developing recruitment campaigns
- Coordinating the onboarding process for successful applicants
- Understanding key HR Analytics - Monitor, decide & propose action.
- Providing advice and playing a major role in work reviews and change processes.
- Write or review all relevant notes and letters as required sending them out in a timely manner.
- Using HR information systems to access, input and compile data.
- Identifying development needs
- Suggesting new HR technology solutions to improve day-to-day operations.
- Providing support and training in performance evaluation methods (e.g., employee appraisal system)
- To advise an support managers with ER I,e grievances, disciplinary actions, absence management.
- Write or review all relevant notes and letters as required sending them out in a timely manner.
- Coach managers with HR procedures and challenge any non-compliance.
- To actively monitor, and together with the relevant manager, manage all absence cases making. Referrals to occ health as required - instigating formal proceedings where necessary.
- Assisting in organising employer branding initiatives and collaborating with global HR team on company HR initiatives
- Confidence in being Champion HRIS super user.

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Good working knowledge of HR/ HRIS data systems as well as Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel (including Pivot tables).
- Organised and able to work in a confidential environment.
- Accurate, with attention to detail.
- Able to multitask and prioritise workload.
- Disciplined and professional.
- Focused on deadlines, outcomes, and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills and understanding of UK Employment legislation such as
- The Equalities Act 2010, Working Time Regulations, and GDPR guidelines, Maternity, Paternity and other statutory rights.
- To work in a team, under direct instruction and under own initiative.
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Conscientious, always looking for opportunities to improve efficiency and quality of service.
- Proactive, as opposed to reactive.
- Good Analytical skills.
- Ability to be conscientious, empathetic and to work in a confidential environment.
- Ideally Level 5 CIPD qualified, or working towards level 5, or relevant experience.

**What's on Offer**:
If you are successful, you should expect:

- £28,000 - £30,000
