Accept Recruitment is currently looking for a **Quality Inspector** for our new client based in Leicester, Le4.
Role Purpose:
Maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results.
Perform inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures of incoming materials, parts and components used in the manufacture of products, partially assembled or finished.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Approve incoming materials confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Approve in-process production confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
- Approve finished products confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarising re-work and waste; inputting data into a quality database.
- Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities;

**Requirements**:
**Essential**:

- Inspection experience in a high precision engineering environment: aerospace, precision engineering or automotive
- Experience of working to ISO9001.
- Micrometres, verniers, height gauges,
- Read customer drawings and understands the importance of accurate measurements

**Desirable**:

- Gained Inspection experience in a fast moving high precision environment: aerospace, precision engineering or automotive
- CMM would be advantage

**Shifts**

Monday - Friday
14:00 - 22:00
