**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure no public access to stands.
- Be able to confidently answer questions in a friendly manner and provide helpful information to the general public.
- Assist with handover of Esplanade to stewarding team.
- Conduct accreditation checks.
- Maintain security awareness.
- Conduct security sweep of stands daily.
- Coordinate vehicle access calendar.
- Manage key register, and issue keys to stakeholders as required.
- Manage Tattoo vehicle access to Esplanade, liaising closely with HES staff to communicate vehicle access details.
- Carry out pre-event safety checks in designated area, ensuring that all safety equipment is in place and there are no hazards.
- Investigate any disturbances or incidents, reporting any issues to supervisors.
- Ensure combustible refuse does not accumulate.
- Respond to emergencies (such as early stages of a fire), raising the alarm and taking the necessary immediate action.
- Communicate with Event Control in the event of an emergency.
- Be polite, welcoming, and friendly.
- Present a positive impression of the company and uphold our values in all activity.

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS /TRAINING - ESSENTIAL**
- Excellent communication skills.
- Written and verbal literacy.
- Approachable and helpful.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to form and maintain positive working relationships.
- A positive attitude.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Basic IT skills.

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS /TRAINING - DESIRABLE**
- Experience in theatre or other entertainment venues.
- Experience in a customer care environment or Public facing role.
- Foreign language skills.
- First Aid.
- Security Industry Authority licence holder.
- Previous stewarding/ site steward / event experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: £10.90 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edinburgh, EH1 2NG: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Work authorisation:

- United Kingdom (required)
