Restaurant Host/hostess

Forage Farm Shop & Restaurant, situated on the Penllyn Estate, is the current Welsh Farm Shop of the Year and winner of the Platinum Award at the Cardiff Life Awards. With a spacious 70 cover restaurant, and separate takeaway unit, it serves outstanding coffee, delicious cake and treats, and high quality meals comprised of seasonal, fresh food.

We are currently recruiting for a Front-of-House to work within the restaurant, reporting to the Restaurant Supervisor and Restaurant Manager.

The core role is to provide excellent customer service, attending to customers’ needs in a prompt and courteous manner, while promoting sales.

The Role:
Our restaurant is high volume so team members need to be fast on their feet and adept at turning tables around. Competitive hourly rate, staff discount card, daytime hours, and a friendly working atmosphere.
- Have customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality sector;
- Be outgoing, confident, and friendly;
- Have a keen eye for detail;
- Be flexible to changing business needs;
- Be comfortable in a fast-paced environment;
- Be competent in using POS systems; and
- Be a team player.

40 hours per week; weekend availability essential
