An exciting leadership role has emerged for a seasoned professional to spearhead operations and drive success in a dynamic environment. Take on the challenge of being the Head of Operations, where accountability and responsibility meet excellence. Manage and deliver the Regional Business Plan, ensuring the highest standards in financial, staff, and learner performance, while championing an exceptional learner journey.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Own the effective management and delivery of the Regional Business Plan, aligning with overarching corporate strategies and uphold the established standard for the end-to-end learner journey
- Safeguard the region by adhering to policies and procedures, ensuring statutory compliance
- Engage in and contribute to quality improvement initiatives, maintaining delivery standards
- Lead assessment and teaching efforts within the region, meeting business plan targets and collaborate with managers to address challenges at assessor and tutor levels, proposing effective solutions
- Facilitate regular team meetings at local and regional levels for seamless communication
- Stay updated on industry developments, contributing to team upskilling
- Build and maintain strong external relationships through active participation in relevant networks, events, and committees
- Ensure readiness for external inspections or audits at any time
- Share valuable insights and best practices across teams, informing future business plans
- Ensure the team has sufficient Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for effective curriculum development

**Essential Requirements**
- HNC level education or equivalent, coupled with 6 O Levels/GCSEs (including Math and English at A-C)
- Proven management experience, showcasing effective leadership over large teams in a geographic area
- Track record of successful management against KPIs, adept at working in a matrix-style organisation
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in databases and dashboards for performance insights
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Working knowledge of building services engineering and related industries
- Familiarity with work-based learning and Government-funded training provisions and associated regulations
- Experience in remote management and a valid driving license and residence within the region of responsibility
