Description

Jellis Carpentry and Joinery are looking for a motivated and committed individual to join their team as a Carpenter’s Apprentice.

**Here's a taster of the daily tasks**:

- To Follow on Site Health & Safety and Regular Toolbox Talk Guidance
- Ability to understand technical drawings.
- Conducting quality checks
- Measuring and marking wood according to designs
- Cutting wood on machines or by hand
- Ability to travel to and from sites and college is essential.
- You should follow all safety regulations and RAMS.

Carpentry maintenance and customer care will also give you the opportunity to gain Interaction and develop your communication skills on site.

**About you**:
You'll bring passion and enthusiasm to the apprenticeship. You'll be motivated, with a strong willingness to learn and communicate and work well with others. A positive, professional attitude with good time keeping.

Entry requirements

Good Understanding of Maths and English. Ideally - GCSE English and Maths A*-C/4-9 or level 2 equivalents.

Training to be provided

You will be working alongside a skilled carpenter and have the opportunity to work independently when deemed competent.

You will learn the start to finish process for site carpentry, starting from 1st fixing studwalls, to roofing, door hanging and the final fixing of bathroom cabinets.
