**WHAT IS ON OFFER**

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Project Leader to join our Energy Services division in Dundonald. As a Project Leader, you will be responsible for managing all technical operations of the business and client liaison. In this role, you will ensure that the quality of service is maintained with regard to sample preparation, sampling, consulting, surveying and inspection activity services. In addition, you will provide technical advice and support across all fuels streams to ensure that an efficient and high quality service is provided in order to meet required internationally recognised standards.

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE

**Essential**
- The ability to work to agreed business and personal objectives, effectively manage manpower, evaluate operational requirements and determine logical conclusions based on experience and methodologies.
- Experience of working in a client facing role, with excellent customer service skills and technical knowledge.
- Highly organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly inform others.
- Excellent administrative skills with experience of writing reports.
- Highly motivated, with the ability to work on own initiative in a dynamic work environment with changing priorities and build strong relationships both internally and externally
- Strong quality focus with a strive for excellence.

**Required Competencies**
- Highly proficient IT skills - Microsoft and Google
- Full competency and understanding of Citrix
- Good numeracy skills

**Desirable Work Experience**
- Experience managing a team is desirable
- Professional work experience within inspection and sample preparation analysis, in particular working with coal/biomass and RDF business streams is desirable

**Required Qualifications**
- A degree in Engineering (minimum 2.1 grade required)

**Additional Requirements**
- A period of six months training in Rotherham is required
- Travel both domestically and internationally is required
