**About us**
Here at Vertu Motors due to our recent expansion in the South West we have a unique opportunity to join our Risk Team

We are looking for a Risk Auditor to join us. This role will be based in the South West to cover our dealerships in this area and it will involve regular travel.

**About the Role**
The Risk Team is a key control function within the Group to provide assurance of compliance with financial and other policies & procedures to the Directors and Divisional management. The team also conduct control reviews, fraud investigations and engage in issue resolution when areas of non-compliance are identified. The team is integral to the development of new policies, procedures and systems as the Group continues to grow.

**Key responsibilities**

The Risk Team aim to audit at least 80% of all dealerships each year through on-site visits by the field team of Risk Auditors. This work includes:

- Balance sheet audits - a detailed review of the full balance sheet to verify that all policies have been correctly applied
- Vehicle stock audits - a detailed review of the monthly stock checks carried out by the dealerships
- Controls reviews - specific reviews focused on current key risks
- Providing support to the dealership management team post-audit

**About You** Skills required**
- Financial acumen
- Attention to detail
- Report writing (the results of all the work needs to be documented clearly & concisely for senior management review)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Inquisitive mindset

**Applicant requirements**
- Previous experience in accounts department, internal audit or external audit
- Motor trade experience
- Keyloop experience preferred but not essential
