**Job: Pre-Press Operator**

**Salary: £22,000 - £25,000**

My client is one of the leading graphics and signage companies across the West Midlands. They design, manufacture and install a complete range of signage solutions for a multitude of clients across the UK. From bespoke installs to nationwide roll-outs, they do it all. Due to continued success, they are looking to add an experienced artworker to their design department.

**Desired Experience**:

- Adobe Creative Suite. Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat
- An understanding of digital file formats (PDF, tiff, eps)
- An understanding of Mac operating system
- Knowledge of setting and operating large format printers would be beneficial

**Job Role and Responsibilities**:

- Preparing supplied artwork for large format print / signage production utilising Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Illustrator and InDesign
- Image manipulation and colour correction where required.
- PDF Proofing
- Colour managed proof output
- Conform to precise procedures and guidelines.
- Quality control of Print PDF files, Cut files and Proof Specification PDFs
- Data input and reporting via MIS
- Maintain good communication skills internally and externally
- Work proficiently as an integral part of a busy, friendly production team
- Flexibility to meet the demands of the Company and deadlines defined
- Maintain and manage good housekeeping methods on all systems and workstations along within the workplace.
- Upkeep of operational systems and software

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday

- Wolverhampton, West Midlands: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Pre-Press / Studio: 3 years (required)
