Apprentice Electrician

City of York Council are seeking to recruit an Apprentice Electrician to work within the Electrical Department. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and growing team who carry out electrical maintenance, testing and installation across a wide range of properties, from the Councils’ 7800 domestic properties to schools and public buildings.

We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic individual to join our building maintenance team, contributing towards the provision of an efficient and effective service in maintaining/servicing and undertaking electrical work in domestic and commercial properties within the York area, through the training, knowledge and skills development acquired throughout the period of employment

Successful applicants will be working towards a Level 3 Installation Electrician Apprenticeship.

Grade 4 English and Maths is essential for this role.
