We are currently looking to recruit a Broking Administrator to join our Personal Lines team in Caerphilly. Personal lines experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.

**Summary of main responsibilities and activities**:

- Process client renewals, new business and mid-term adjustments efficiently, effectively and in accordance with the FCA and Thomas, Carroll procedures
- Check all documentation for accuracy before issuing to clients or appropriate parties and highlight any changes to the clients.
- Review management information and reports as necessary, ensuring that the appropriate action is taken
- General administration to assist the broking teams including but not limited to printing, binding and electronic filing
- Carry out switchboard and reception duties when required and in doing so:

- Be the first point of contact to office visitor
- Ensure all visitors are signed in and out of the building
- Manage the distribution of incoming telephone calls having
established the caller’s requirements
- Answer incoming telephone calls within set service standards
- Take and relay telephone messages as required by callers
- Maintain an accurate log of the whereabouts of all employees
- Maintain accurate client and prospect records
- Build good working relationships with insurers, clients and prospects
- Assist colleagues in the completion of their duties
- Direct leads to other companies within the Thomas, Carroll Group
- Undertake and participate in work related projects as requested

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,000.00 per year
