Excellent opportunity for an experienced telemarketer to join a fast-developing, national wholesaler of designer door hardware. As the telemarketer, you will make proactive sales calls, and market products and services by phone, to various potential clients. As part of the role you will maintain a thorough understanding of products and services, process sales and meet sales goals.
A successful telemarketer must be friendly and persuasive. You must be able to understand the customer’s requirements in a short time and present solutions that meet their needs.
The role requires discipline to focus on being proactive and focused on the telesales task at hand, it will be a core part of the sales function delivering continuous results.
**The role**
- Generating new leads, contacting primarily by phone to establish decision makers' contact details, understand partnership opportunities, present product offerings, and book VC or in-person meetings.
**Key Elements of the Job**
- Make outgoing customer calls or cold calls in order to sell our core service whilst understanding the scope of the opportunity
- Answers questions about our service offering
- Understand whether there is a wider opportunity sat behind the initial lead and how this can be followed up
- Accurately and efficiently enter customer information into company databases giving full transparency of any conversations and/or actions required
- Maintain accurate record on the CRM of potential leads and follow up with those customers by making subsequent sales pitches
- Arrange follow-up consultation videos and/or phone calls with customers to pass on to the sales team for follow-up.
- Contact customers in response to correspondence or feedback
- Maintain working knowledge of products and services sold, new sites deployed, and any other relevant company news that will be beneficial to your role.
Deliver consistent results in line with expectations.
**Skills and experience**
- Previous telemarketing/sales experience in product Sales/Business Development role required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Hard-working, self-motivated, well organised, target-driven, and have a can-do attitude.
- Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Activity and outcome incentive scheme based on projects or focus work
- Proven experience as a telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role
- Proven track record of successfully making sales over the phone
- Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software and Microsoft suite)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in English
- Skilled in negotiation
- Persistent and results-oriented
- Patient and able to handle customer rejection
- Work well in a team, and individually.

- Fastidious about accuracy with outstanding attention to detail
- Comfortable working as part of a team or alone and under pressure, and able to form and maintain relationships at all levels
