We are currently recruiting for Catch up and Intervention teachers across KS2 in Coventry.
**Your new role**
Upon successfully registering as an Intervention teacher for Hays, you will be working on a part
- or full-time basis allowing you to be flexible and support any commitments you may have. You will be working with KS2 children up to year 6. As an Interventionteacher it is essential you have excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum as you will be teaching individuals and small groups of children in catching up with lessons they have missed or do not understand. You will be you working under the guidance ofthe teaching staff and identifying and students within the classroom and then providing them with support. You will be planning these intervention classes with the help of the classroom teacher and delivering them in an effective and engaging manner allowingthe children to be confident in learning and asking for help.
**What you'll need to succeed**
When registering with Hays Education as an Intervention Teacher you must hold a QTS or PGCE and have experience teaching children inside and outside the classroom on a 1-1 basis and in small groups. You need to be able to effectively engage with children andmotivate them to ask for help when they need it. You will also be required to assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of the children so good communication and observing skill will be required.
