Are you a good communicator with experience of delivering high quality services to the public with a passion for books, reading and working with people?

Do you have experience of driving large vehicles?

As Library Supervisor Supermobile in a relief capacity you will be delivering frontline library services from the mobile library (a large vehicle), including activities and events to meet local and council priorities.

You will be responsible for driving the vehicle and delivering frontline services from agreed locations across North Yorkshire. You will be lone working for most working hours so will be expected to be able to prioritise your own work within an agreed framework and use own judgement and discretion on the most appropriate action where necessary.

Base for this post is Library Headquarters at Northallerton.

An LGV (Class C) licence with appropriate CPC, alongside literacy, numeracy and IT skills equivalent to level 2 are essential.

A flexible approach to working including weekends, evening and location is also required. The post is offered on a relief basis, providing cover for Supervisor leave, training and other absences.
