Recruitment Ready are looking for a Transport Supervisor at a waste service company. The role will be in a busy transport office.

Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm with an hours lunch.

Holidays entitlement will be 20 days plus Bank Holidays.
- Keeping customers up to date with our services

*Reporting data back to customers as required.

*Dealing with queries and issues as they happen

*Running a mailbox for incoming jobs and issues/queries.

*Reporting to customers on a weekly/monthly basis with the required information.

*Generating invoices

*Answering the telephone.

*Working along side the Transport Manager to ensure that all planned work is achieved. This will involve forward thinking to alter plans throughout the day if required

*Running the daily work load of the FEL (front end loader) ensuring jobs are carried out at particular frequencies and all data recorded.

*Running the driver hour and tacho software to ensure drivers are working within the required drivers hours and rules on a weekly basis.

*Driver de-briefing

*Liaising with the Transport Manager for arrangements for vehicle servicing.

*Driver daily defects - to ensure defect forms are completed and dealt with on the day if possible or to passed on for action to the Transport Manager.

*To cover the Transport Manager as holiday cover

Expected start date: ASAP

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£29,000.00 per year

COVID-19 considerations:
This role is not face to face contact. The office is spacious with your own PC, telephone, keyboard etc and any dealing with drivers is through a glass window from the drivers entrance.
