**About the role**

We are looking for someone who can help with housekeeping duties and support with changeovers during busy periods.

South Downs Rural Retreats offers self-catering and luxury glamping accommodation in Findon Village. We offer a tranquil, beautiful setting for guests and pride ourselves on providing exceptional high standards.

In this role you will need to be full of energy, enthusiastic and have pride in leaving accommodation in an impeccable condition for guests. Capable of working at pace on your own or with a supporting person.

**Responsibilities include**
- Re-organising returned clean laundry into bed sets and folding towels
**- **Hoovering, dusting and deep clean of all inside areas - bathroom, bedroom, living area and kitchen (including appliances)
- Linen changes - stripping of and making king size beds, single beds and bunk beds
- Ensuring accommodation is stocked of all necessary items - toiletries, toilet roll, kitchen roll, cleaning cloths and welcome items such as butter, milk and flowers
- Use of mops, vacuum cleaners, cloths and cleaning products are to be used and used in a safe manner following manufacturer’s guidelines
- Use of cleaning products that are made available and used in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines ensuring all safety precautions are followed
- Outside - maintaining garden furniture and sweeping/washing down patios
- Watering of plants outside
- Occasional domestic house cleaning

**Skills**
- Cleaning experience in a hotel or domestic environment would be advantageous
- Ability to work at pace as there is often a changeover window to work within
- To have a high standard of workmanship to ensure the accommodation is maintained to a high standard and to follow direction and requests that may be given
- Present and conduct yourself in a professional, courteous and appropriate manner
- Manage time effectively to complete tasks
- Positive can-do attitude
- Friendly and helpful attitude to customers

**Requirements**:
This is a temporary role until September this year. You will be required on either a Saturday or a Sunday and ad-hoc days in the week to cover staff holiday.

Hours will vary depending on the number of changeovers, but will generally be between 9:30am and 2:30pm.

*Please note - no smoking or vaping on site is allowed during working hours*

Pay: From £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 15 per week
