Kitchen Assistant

**You will be required to work on rolling rota (below). Either 8am to 4pm**
- **Week 1: Monday, Thursday and Friday**:

- **Week 2: Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday**

**About Eltisley Manor**:A nursing care home for men and women with mental health issues, including dementia. Eltisley Coach House is a home for men and women who are nearing the end of their rehabilitation and preparing for independent living.

The main purpose of the job role is to cook the meals from frozen by following the temperature guidelines, maintain a hygienic and safe environment in the Kitchen and clean wards/communal areas of the hospital.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare simple meals i.e. sandwiches, vegetables, hospitality and salad items as required.
- Prepare ancillary items for services such as breakfast items and drinks.
- Ensure the main kitchen and the satellite kitchens are kept clean and hygienic.
- To use cleaning equipment, machinery and cleaning materials as directed.
- Comply with company policy in terms of Food Safety and Health and Safety regulations, accurately completing and storing all records.
- Ordering meals from the catering provider by following the menu plan.
- Receive, temperature check and store appropriately food deliveries.

**Essential Skills**
- Customer service experience
- Multi-tasker
- Ability to follow schedules and complete necessary paperwork
- Must hold high hygiene standards
- Able to manage own time and work independently
