Specialist Podiatrist

This post is a Specialist Podiatrist working within Foot Protection, predominantly based within the West Quadrant

The Foot Protection service within NHS GGC Podiatry provides specialist care to patients with active foot disease. This patient cohort has a broad spectrum of co-morbid disease including diabetes, peripheral vascular disease and renal disease. The work of this specialty team is often centred on avoiding unnecessary hospital admission and morbidity. Further services are provided in acute hospital wards. The Speciality Practioners in the service also provide clinical advice, support and mentorship across the Quadrant.

Due to the wide geographical spread of the quadrant the resource allocated to FP doms may be larger than other quadrants.

Hours are worked 8.30 to 16.30
