Aviation Painter/prep/sprayer

**Responsibilities and Duties.**
- Confirm all prior assembly and test operations have been completed.
- Prepare surfaces of aerospace components for painting
- Select and mix paint and coatings according to business procedures and process specifications and requirements.
- Operate paint spraying equipment with precision and attention to detail.
- Ensure proper adhesion and coverage of coatings on aerospace parts.
- Monitor and adjust spray equipment settings for optimal results.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines for handling hazardous materials.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure finished products meet industry standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the paint booth and surrounding work areas.
- Keep accurate records of paint usage, work hours, and materials.
- Maintain calibration of all paint shop equipment
- Identify process improvements.
- Completion of any work-related tasks, which would be deemed reasonable of this

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer.
- Proficiency in using various paint spraying equipment and techniques.
- Knowledge of aerospace coatings, surface preparation, and industry standards.
- Attention to detail and ability to achieve high-quality finishes.
- Understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to paint spraying.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Able to read Engineering drawings / Specifications.
- Apprentice trained / NVQ level 3 qualification desirable.
- Computer literate

**Salary**: £12.46-£14.06 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 39 per week
