As we continue to grow, the opportunities grow too. Due to our plans, we are looking to complement our existing team with a Procurement Officer.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Coordinate purchasing activities to ensure timely procurement of goods and services - raising purchase orders, requesting quotes, GRN PO’s.
- Conduct market research and identify potential suppliers.
- Negotiate and establish contractual agreements with suppliers.
- Monitor and track supplier performance to ensure compliance with contract terms.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Analyze procurement data and prepare monthly reports for management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce procurement costs.
- Liaising with warehouse and on site staff to ensure products arrive in good condition and on time.
- Negotiate with suppliers to improve our payment terms, receive bulk purchase discounts and rebates.
- Querying of invoices with suppliers and requesting credits if necessary
**Requirements**:
- Previous Procurement/Purchasing experience essential.
- Confident Negotiator
- Great Analytical skills
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills
- Telecoms/construction background helpful but not essential
- A willingness to challenge and improve the way we currently work
