An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dietitian, with an interest in diabetes and community dietetics. The post will be based at Drumchapel Health Centre. The dietitian will be the lead for diabetes within the West Community Dietetic Team. This post will assess and manage patients with diabetes as well as some other patients with a range of conditions. Patients will be seen in person, across a variety of settings, virtually or via telephone. There is a significant element of this role involves working in partnership with other diabetes colleagues to deliver virtual diabetes patient education groups called “Control It Plus”. The dietitian will work in partnership with other community dietitians to develop patient resources, staff education and patient outcome measures. You will also be involved in the supervision, teaching, mentoring of student dietitians. A BSc in Human Nutrition & Dietetics, HCPC registration and a car driving license are essential. We are a friendly, supportive and forward thinking team.
