Housekeeper/cleaner

**About us**

Hospitality Cleaning Services is a small independent cleaning agency based in Pickering.

We have a small team of professional and enthusiastic individuals who we could not manage without, and we are looking for the ideal people to join us.

We manage a number of properties with in the Pickering area, getting these ready for the incoming guests. Our clients also include retail premises, cafes, and pubs.

Our day usually begins around 9:30 and we aim to finsh no later than 2:30. However we do have some early shifts for the early birds and also later shirfts for the night owls.

We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail. No experience necessary as full trianing will be given

UK driving licence prefered but not esential

**Responsibilities**:

- Clean and maintain assigned areas in hotels or other hospitality establishments
- Making beds
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers
- Replenish supplies such as towels, toilet paper, and soap
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Follow all health and safety regulations

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel cleaning is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.00-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 20 per week
