Industrial Cleaner/labourer

We are currently recruiting for an industrial at our busy aggregates and powders processing site in Buxton.

Domestic duties to include but not limited to
- Ensuring all areas above are kept to a high standard of cleanliness
- Informing your supervisor when you need more cleaning equipment ordering to keep a good stock of everything you need
- Reporting and maintenance issues

Industrial cleaning duties to include but not limited to
- Cleaning under silos and plant
- Emptying and cleaning dust extractors
- Cleaning of factory floors with push along sweeper
- Keeping walkways and fire exits clear and clean
- Cleaning spillages and damaged stock in a safe manner
- Assisting production operatives with recycling waste into different categorie
- Litter picking
- Organising and stacking scrap pallets
- Removing and disposing off scrap bags and packaging from work areas
- General housekeeping to keep the site clean, tidy and safe

Forklift truck licence and/or experience preferred

Must have own transport to get to work

Working hours are 6am to 4pm Monday to Friday

Overtime will be occasionally available when deep cleans etc are required.

Starting rate £12.48 per hour
