**Part Time Support Worker Required**

**We are looking for dedicated and caring support worker for a gentleman in his**
**60’s with an acquired brain injury and bipolar disorder. The client lives in assisted living housing in the Atherton area of Manchester.**

**Brief Job Description**
- To provide social interactions for the client
- To build a relationship and motivate him.
- To enable him to participate in activities he enjoys, such as, football, gym and going on holiday.
- To accompany him on social and leisure activities.

**Hours of Work**
- Wednesdays - 10am-3pm and occasional Saturdays to football.

**Person Specification**
- **Car driver with a valid licence and full clean record. You must have your own**

**car available with valid business insurance.**
- NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care preferred but not essential
- Ability to work independently and under supervision
- Able to be calm and consistent
- Enthusiastic and creative
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge and experience of working with adults with an acquired brain injury would be welcomed, but it is not a requirement, as training and regular supervision will be provided.

**Hourly rate **- £14.50 per hour.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 5 per week

**Salary**: £14.50 per hour
