At Superior Healthcare, we are passionate about the progression and development of our teams, and due to the growth of our business, we currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Complex Care Team as a Senior Care Assistant for paediatrics in Kent.
**Job details**:
Working as a Senior Support Worker within the **Paediatric Team.** you will provide a high standard of care and support to our clients with complex healthcare needs. Your main role will be to support in providing a high level of staffing contingency for the wide range of clients across **Kent.** You will ensure the clients receive person-centered care and you will support the clients to live a full and valued life. This will include personal care, moving and handling, medication administration, activity planning and accessing the wider community as well as general house maintenance and meal preparation. You will work a minimum of 35 hours each week, working 4 shifts on, 4 off night shifts.

**Requirements**:
- A minimum of 12 months experience in care with previous experience of supporting children with complex care needs.
- You must hold a valid, clear UK driving license, with access to your own vehicle. You will receive mileage reimbursed after 20 miles’ round trip at 45p per mile.
- Both COVID-19 vaccinations.
- Possession of, or willing to work towards, a level 3 NVQ qualification or similar.
- Commitment to a rolling rota of 4 nights on, and 4 nights off.
- Tracheostomy experience is essential.
