Shipping Associate

Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a manufacturing company based in Worcester.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.

Due to increased demand, our client now has a requirement for a Shipping Associate.

365 Resourcing are the preferred supplier to Mazak.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Shipping Associate in our shipping department working shifts.

The role will be responsible for all systems and processes within the shipping department.

**The role**
- Prepare machine and equipment in accordance with packing procedure to ensure work is complete to the correct standard for clamp/grease, coolant tank, m/c prep/finish & m/c packaging,
- Check machines prior to pack in conjunction with inspection zone policy,
- Photos of machine complete,
- MOS validation against physical machine prior to shipment,
- Completion of paperwork - gateways & safety packing procedures,
- Work against shipping plan and ensure m/c’s are complete in a timely manner,
- Support material control cover when required,
- Responsible for root cause investigation on shipping systems and processes for customer and internal complaints,
- Kaizen, 5S in the workplace and Health & Safety.

- PC literate, conversant with Microsoft packages,
- Good planning and communication,
- Above all, attitude is key with a can do attitude.
