Malin Newbuild Ltd, part of Malin Group, is on the look out for experienced Welder's to join our team based in Renfrew.

You will be responsible for the fitting and welding of different grade material using defined processes.

Role and Responsibilities
- General welding activities of different welding processes
- General welding activities of different grades of material
- Drawing interpretation to ensure correct weld deposit is achieved.
- Fabricate where necessary.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proven experience within a fabrication and welding environment.
- Sound knowledge of manual welding processes.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and related welding symbols.
- Be pro-active and use initiative to minimize downtime.
- The ability to use power tools for dressing, de-burring etc.
- The ability to troubleshoot and be proactive in their approach to any welding works to be completed.
- H&S awareness always.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements
- Successfully completed a modern apprenticeship in relevant discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years working experience within a similar role/environment.
