**Main Purpose of the Job**:
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and goal-orientated Events Fundraiser with exceptional communication skills and a proven track record in events, or experience in customer service, sales or fundraising with a particular interest in Events, tasked to raise funds and awareness within the three regions of East Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.

As part of a driven fundraising team, you will be responsible, supported by the Fundraising Manager, and Senior Events Fundraiser, for delivering an engaging calendar of events to raise the profile of and raise funds for Jerry Green Dog Rescue. You will be part of a small team and will be supported to develop your skills alongside your work. You will be a strong team player with good interpersonal skills and have exceptional organisation and attention to detail. **Key Tasks and Responsibilities**
- To contribute to and deliver against annual budgets, targets and plans, working alongside your colleagues and the Fundraising Manager.
- To support the Senior Events Fundraiser to deliver a calendar of engaging, innovative and profitable flagship events throughout the year, supported by smaller events, to raise funds for and enhance the profile of Jerry Green Dog Rescue, in line with the charity’s core values.
- Take a key role in the planning, implementation and strategic growth of pillar JGDR events.
- This will include but is not limited to: Planning and delivering a portfolio of events, developing and establishing effective event management plans, liaising with all third party suppliers, working to set budgets, sourcing suitable venues, adhering to tight deadlines, creating effective relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, driving high standards of health and safety and risk management, being onsite before, during & after the event to continue support and post event evaluations.
- To seek and utilise corporate sponsorship to enhance the profitability of events by minimising costs to JGDR. Recognise the long term value of these supporters and maintain impeccable donor stewardship to encourage long lasting relationships and retain support.
- To work alongside Marketing to gather high quality content at events, to use for future promotion and online campaigns.
- To compile weekly and monthly reporting data to inform your line manager of your outputs and results.
- To undertake any identified training as required or proposed by your manager, and take a key role in your own personal development, bringing appropriate training to the attention of your manager.
- To respond to enquiries from the public, volunteers, fundraisers etc (by phone, mail and in person) including responding to requests for information and material etc.
- Support the Fundraising Manager, Volunteer Co-ordinator, and your colleagues with the development of new recruitment strategies to maximise the number of volunteers supporting events and fundraising activities.
- Make sure all the legal requirements for events and community fundraising are in place and adhere to Institute of Fundraising Codes of Practice, Fundraising Regulator requirements, and health and safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate records on JGDR’s donor database to include records of correspondence, relationships, financial and donation information.
- To remain professional at all times showing emotional resilience and empathy.
- Undertake other reasonable duties as required.

- Previous events or fundraising experience.
