Our client, a large international association, are looking for an IT Systems Training Officer to join them on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to get involved in training programmes on a national level and take full ownershipof the development program.

**Purpose of the role**:
The IT department has recently launched two customer facing membership software’s which means they are looking for someone to take ownership of the training programme, review the existing training material and recommend on how this can be improved and deliveredeffectively. Whether this is print, webinars or pre-recorded on-line training sessions. Again this is a national role therefore you will be liaising with stakeholders across the country whom will then train staff locally. Sometimes you will be involved intraining internationally as well.

**Key Tasks**:

- Carry out training needs analysis.
- Design appropriate training programmes.
- Develop an appropriate mix of formal and informal development activities.
- Ensure that the learning environment and resources support learner needs.
- Design course materials and documents such as handouts, manuals and exercises.
- Deliver training programmes in person or online.
- Support and coach learners using learning technologies to deliver skills.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes and learning outcomes.
- Develop peer networks to keep abreast of current thinking.
- Conduct training-needs analysis and design programs to train the end users in the use of our software packages and information systems accordingly.
- Establish a 'train the trainer group’ for provincial support staff so that they can effectively support their local users.
- Monitor the quality of training and implement changes to improve its effectiveness.
- Update the memberships systems help content so that it incorporates new developments and answers 'frequently asked questions’.
- Storyboard, script and create training video content, including providing voiceover.
- Maintain shared training mailboxes, ensuring contact is responded to promptly.
- Prepare the learning environment and resources, including setting up IT equipment where appropriate.

This is a full time role, 35 hours a week fully onsite for the first 6 months. Salary for this role depending on experience is between £45-50k with a very generous pension package.
