The Audiology Service provides a highly specialist clinical, rehabilitative and technical support to patients referred to the service via various routes. The role of the Band 6 Audiologist is to deliver audiology support for work of both a complex and routine nature. Your main duties will be specialist audiological assessment, rehabilitation of patients, and development, implementation and evaluation programmes of care to ensure delivery of high quality care for patients.

To provide support to the Head of Audiology to achieve service objectives, waiting times targets and implement work programmes.

The work undertaken can be delivered via numerous locations including large district general hospitals, health centres, community hospitals, nursing homes and patient homes; your location for duty may vary to suit the needs of the service. It is essential that you hold an audiology BSc post-qualification experience. Current full registration with The Academy for Healthcare Science (RCCP) is essential for this post.

You will be employed for 37.5 hours per week and working patterns may change to suit the needs of the service. The shift pattern for this post is 08.00-17.50, 4 days per week but may vary to due to the needs of the service.
