**Job summary**:

- Technical Operations provides the NCA with technical solutions in high risk environments, employing modern technology and sensitive tactics, in order to develop intelligence and acquire evidence. As a Senior Technical Officer in the COMEX team you will lead deployments and manage the development and delivery of covert data acquisition operations in support of serious and organised crime investigations within the UK and overseas.**Job description**:
Deploy on operational activity with investigation teams in line with business priorities.

Ensure the correct acquisition, recording, retention, analysis and dissemination of intelligence, evidence and information in accordance with Agency policy.

Responsible for developing / procuring / maintaining / deploying innovative, technological solutions which enable the delivery of covert ComEx activity against agreed strategic objectives.

To guide technical research and development and continuously develop skills in data retrieval through active research, training, experimentation, collaboration and knowledge sharing.

**Person specification**:

- As a COMEX Operator in the Technical Operations Department you will join a highly successful Technical Operations team, primarily focused on, but not limited to IPA 2016 compliant operational activity. You will provide a highly specialised national and international capability for the NCA and its partners. As a COMEX Operator, you will work as part of a small operationally focused team based at different locations, delivering against NCA objectives in a highly skilled technical environment.**Qualifications**:

- The following qualifications/skills are essential to the role and proof will be required at interview:
- College of Policing accreditation in Technical operations skillset (ie deploying technical surveillance equipment) or an equivalent accreditation with other bodies such as Law Enforcement, MOD or services agency.
