Accommodation Services are looking to recruit friendly and reliable individuals to come join our team.

**A brief history of Accommodation services**

This unit was formed in the 1980s as a result of compulsory competitive tendering. Formerly known as the Building Caretaking Cleaning Unit (BCCU), Accommodation Services has a turnover of over £4 million and employs in excess of 400 full and part time staff. Although the service we provide is predominantly caretaking and cleaning to approximately 200 properties such as:

- Office Accommodation
- Schools
- Social Services
- Public Conveniences
- Libraries
- Leisure Facilities
- Community Education

The service has become more diverse in recent years, taking a large role with:

- Disposals (furniture & office equipment)
- Recycling
- House Clearances
- Security (Premise & Public meetings)
- Health & Safety (including Fire risk assessments)
- Deep cleans
- Fly tipping
