Job Title: Mandarin / English Part-time Graphic Designer

Contract Type: Casual / Self-employed

Working Hours: Minimum 20 hours per week

Location: Remote

**Salary**: £13 per hour

Overall Purpose of the Job:
Seeking a creative graphic designer with up-to-date knowledge to interpret our company needs and design solutions with a high visual impact. You will be a strong creative-type, but also technically proficient so that you can work alongside our web development and content authoring team.

The Key Tasks Include but are not limited to:
Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.

Plan concept by studying information and materials.

Illustrate concept by designing rough layouts of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.

Obtain approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.

Prepare finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; purchasing from vendors.

Prepare final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.

Ensure the smooth operation of equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements.

Maintain technical knowledge and professional development by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.

Contribute to the team by accomplishing related results as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experiences:
Must be fluent in both English and Mandarin.

Proficient in using design and photo-editing software: AI, PS, InDesign, Coledraw, etc.

Exceptional creativity and innovation.

Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Accuracy and attention to detail.

An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment.

Professional approach to time, costs, and deadlines.

Proven graphic designing experience in print (essential) and web design (desirable).

Familiar with video-editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, etc.

**Salary**: £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
