Job Title: Day-to-Day and Long-Term Teaching Assistants (TAs)

Location: Sefton

**Job Type**: Temporary, with the possibility of long-term placement

**Salary**: £11.50- £13.50 per hour

Job Description: Axcis are currently seeking dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistants (TAs) to join a school on a day-to-day basis, with potential for longer-term assignments following the Easter break. As a TA, you will play a crucial role in supporting classroom teachers and enhancing the educational experience for our students.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist teachers with classroom management and student supervision
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as directed by the teacher
- Help prepare materials and resources for lessons and activities
- Support students with special educational needs or disabilities, ensuring their inclusion and participation in all aspects of school life
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to academic and personal growth
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to support the overall goals and objectives of the school

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting and SEND
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to work effectively with students of varying abilities and backgrounds
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the classroom
- A genuine passion for education and a commitment to supporting student learning and development
