**The role**:
Cardinal Newman Catholic High School are looking to appoint a Midday Assistant, working 5 hours per week, term time only, working 1.10pm to 2.10pm (term time only), Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and Tuesdays being 12.30pm to 13.30pm.

**Job duties**:

- Set up dining hall before lunch / clear away dining hall after lunch (wipe down tables etc.)
- Assist in the supervision of the pupils alongside teaching staff during the mealtime period to minimise any disruption, so that all pupils are safe, cared for and have an enjoyable and sociable lunchtime.

**Skills & Experience**:

- A reasonable level of fitness in line with duties
- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
- A flexible approach to meet requirement of the school
- Able to manage time effectively
- Ability to work both alone and in a team
- Awareness of health and safety procedures
- Reading skills for following instructions
