Dispensing Assistant

**Monday to Friday 1pm-6pm & every Saturday 9am-1pm. 29 hours per week.**
Pharmacy dispensers work as part of a pharmacy team under the direction of a registered community pharmacist. The work includes:
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- taking in and handing out prescriptions
- dispensing prescriptions on a daily basis
- using computer systems to generate stock lists and labels as well as re-order stock
- receiving, unpacking and checking deliveries from suppliers
- selling over-the-counter medicines and advise patients
- answering customers questions face to face or by phone
- pre-packing, assembling and labelling medicines
- preparing medicines
- referring problems or queries to the pharmacist
- Cleaning pharmacy and stock date checking all products
- Cashing up till on a daily basis
**Qualifications and Skills**
1 years community pharmacy experience is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team and autonomously

- A desire to progress within the pharmaceutical industry
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
**Salary**: £9.50-£10.50 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
