Live-in Cook - Scottish Borders £35k with a cottage provided and all bills paid, this is a fantastic opportunity based on a stunning shooting estate on the Scottish Borders. We are looking for a Cook who is really passionate about "garden to plate" cooking,making use of all the abundant fruit and vegetables produced on the estate.

When the family are in residence the main focus of the role will be cooking, when they are not in residence there will also be ad hoc Housekeeping responsibilities to support the Housekeeping team with maintenance of the lodge.

Reporting to the House Manager, main elements of the role will include:

- Cooking and preparing food for the family and their guests - the role requires a high level of healthy cooking to dinner party standard, but does not need to be a fully qualified chef.

Making Jams chutneys and marmalades from produce from the estate

Menu planning with the principal

Provisioning to ensure all ingredients are in place for meal-times

Maintain a record of food produce to ensure efficient use of ingredients

Driving for shopping and other Estate dutiies
