**Main duties and responsibilities**:
We are the worlds leading manufacturer of wood based panel products. A strong, privately owned low cost producer, employing 14,000 across 40+ sites globally.

Duties and responsibilities of this positions include:

- Carrying out required quality audits to ensure product is of A grade. Liaising with Management and Quality department to drive quality improvements
- Liaise with and advise the Press Operators to ensure ‘A' Quality production is maximised
- Maintaining and conducting regular function checks on Baumer cameras
- Be the expert with set-up, maintenance and training of others
- Review data from Baumer and KSoft+ reports
- B / Reject board analysis reporting
- Verification of physical board checks carried out on shift and recording / data analysis of checks (compare boards to camera images)
- Oversee quality checks of incoming raw material and ensure defective material is quarantined
- Consistently follow up on any issues with the relevant departments
- Ensure quality procedures and documentation are in place and valid to relevant standards
- Record any remedial action carried out due to quality issues/concerns

**Requirements**:

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Preferably a degree in Quality Controlling/Chemistry area
- Strong understanding of quality cameras and systems
- Ability to take a concept through to a targeted conclusion.
- Ability to communicate to all levels of the company.
- Good understanding of QS 9000 / ISO14001
- Ability to coach people in new techniques
- Good understanding of company / customer procedures and their auditing.
- Conversant with Quality Tools and Techniques
- Ability to work as a Team player.
