Desktop Claims Handler

A highly reputable and distinguished Chartered Building Company are looking for an experienced Claims Handler to join their growing and expanding Claims Team. This is a Fantastic Opportunity for someone who is a career driven individual who wants to developand enhance their Insurance knowledge as a Claims Handler.

This is an office based role in Chapeltown, Sheffield where you will be given flexibility to work from home now and again.

We are looking to speak to individuals that have experience dealing with construction/property claims. They will consider other areas which will be based on knowledge/experience.

Key duties/tasks include:

- End to end case ownership
- dealing claims from cradle to grave
- Preparing reports, estimates and submit them to insurers for approval
- Agree material choices with customers (within financial allowances approved by client), source cost effective materials and arrange delivery to site.
- Contact customers, book in site surveys, provide customers and clients with introductory paperwork and issue relevant documentation to surveyors.
- Agree repair date schedules with customers
