**About the role**

Working closely with the Store Format and Design Manager, you will be a key contributor to our brand refresh and refurbishment program, ensuring effective implementation of our format blueprint across our pet care centres and veterinary practices. As a Store Format and Design Co-ordinator, you will help develop new initiatives aligned with our omni-channel format strategy, always driving innovation to enhance our proposition.

The role will require regular travel across our portfolio of stores and practices, as well as our Support Office in Handforth (Cheshire).

Key Responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the implementation of all components of the format model and brand identity, including signage, graphics, and look & feel elements
- Conducting regular site visits to ensure the seamless delivery and integrity of design schemes
- Managing store fascias and internal signage, coordinating with external suppliers, legal, brand teams and project managers
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and brand consistency
- Contributing to the creation of new design components and format initiatives, considering operational considerations and costs
- Maintaining a central database of design and brand standards for internal and external use
- Sharing learnings and evaluations to improve design standards and ways of working
- Leading and managing your own store schemes from design through to delivery
- Providing accurate and timely information in project planning meetings, raising challenges proactively
- Writing design briefs and collaborating with design agencies and 3rd party partners for successful project delivery
- Managing financial planning for projects, including budget monitoring and raising orders

**About you**
- Demonstrated expertise in format and brand design, gained through extensive post-graduate experience in Store Format/Development or a visual role within a large retail business
- A proven track record of supporting format projects or retail/visual merchandising designs from concept to delivery
- A strong understanding of brand identity and consumer journeys, translating brand assets into cohesive design and signage schemes
- Working knowledge of store design architecture, branding and store layout principles
- Exceptional creative and visualisation skills for innovative design thinking
- Confident and articulate in presenting design proposals with excellent attention to detail
- An effective problem solver and negotiator, seeking new format and design solutions that add value
- Excellent IT skills, proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- A self-starter, able to manage multiple projects independently while collaborating with the wider team
- Highly organized, capable of managing projects from start to finish
