Location: Worcester
Pay: £11.88 per hour
Hours: 14:00 - 22:00, Monday - Thursday and 14:00 - 20:00 on Friday.
Contract: Permanent
A leading industrial racking manufacturer based in the Worcester, with the ability to design, manufacture and install bespoke storage solutions, are looking for a Spray Shop Operator to join their team on a temp - perm or permanent basis working 14:00 - 22:00, Monday - Thursday and 14:00 - 20:00 on Friday.
As a Spray Shop Operator, you will be responsible for:
To prepare components ready for the spray operation that are in line with the running schedule.
To pack finished product ready and in time for customer delivery.
Ensuring that all components are available and correct to the picking list
Load and unload material manually or with hoists or cranes, depending on weight and size.
Performs work by following the company's operating standards and regulations.
Completes required performance documentation and participates in improvement activities, including workshops.
Verifies inventory and places orders as necessary
Keeps a focus on safety by helping others to conduct themselves appropriately around operating machinery
Works a flexible schedule to keep up with production demand during busy production periods
Pays constant attention to surroundings to reduce accidents
Works cordially with team members
Engages with 5s and continuous improvement activities
As a Spray Shop Operator, you will be required to:
Previous experience as a Spraying Assistant would be beneficial.
Previous experience in a Manufacturing/Production environment will be essential.
There will be a physically demanding aspect to this role.
Self-Motivated and able to effectively plan the most efficient way to complete a task
Previous experience using tools would be beneficial but not essential.
A committed and enthusiastic approach to work will be essential.
Flexible with shifts and willing to work overtime as and when needed by the business.

The role of Spray Operator will be working on a permanent basis being paid with £11.88 per hour (with +20% after 18:00 for the late shift worker ~ £14.25).
