Castlegate Nursery offers great training opportunities, first rate facilities and an incredible opportunity to be part of a fantastic team working in our amazing nursery setting. We are currently looking for a Qualified Practitioner to start in March initially as cover for Maternity Leave within the baby room. The position may become Full Time within one of our rooms as demand for our services are predicted to increase.

We value the importance of having a skilled and knowledgeable team, so applicants should be able to demonstrate a commitment to the ongoing development of their professional practice.

Experience / Knowledge / Benefits (below is a brief overview, not an extensive list):

- Working with babies/ young children, or experience of a caring role
- A working knowledge of key ELC guidance such as Realising the Ambition and Curriculum for Excellence would be beneficial.
- Ability to plan for and observe children at play, and an understanding of child-led
- Working in partnership with colleagues and parents to support children to reach their potential.
- Involvement in outdoor play opportunities
- 28 days paid annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays) is offered with this position
